Photographer's Note
My Intro to Israel, Day 2, Scene 7
The Masada cableway is the quicker way to get to the ancient fortress of Masada. Its bottom station is 257 m below and its summit station is 33 m above sea level, thereby making it the lowest aerial tramway in the world.
The original cableway was built in 1971 by the Karl Brändle company of Switzerland to carry people to the ruins at the top of the plateau. It had one aerial tramway support pillar and two cabins with a length of 900 meters and an elevation change of 290 meters. It was replaced in 1998 by an aerial tramway built by Von Roll without any support pillar and with a higher capacity of 1200 people / hour.
This is taken looking back at the station from the ramp to entrance of the fortress. The meticulously regular lines of the artificial structure against the irregular rock face looked worthy of a click.
This is going to be my last post for about a week. Later today, I will be starting my trek down to Knoxville, Tennessee. Though I will have my computer with me, I'll use it to catch up with critiques. I will continue this travelogue upon my return.
Teleferik Istasyonu

Hello Murat,
Interesting composition from the Masada cableway. So many lines here in the photo. Nice colours. And when you go for hiking, I must wait for the top of Masada :). I also went by this cableway, the views were fantastic. Surely you will show them here.
Have a great time in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Hi Murat,
I can understand why you would have taken this shot, what a wild mix of lines and elements. I also like the play of light and shade, which has all come tgether in a fun manner to entice the eyes...those which are scanning all overthe imagery o try and make sense of the layout. :) Hope you have a fun and safe trip. Looking forward to your return of pictures when you get back. Have a good one. Take it easy.
Friendly wishes,
Jason

Hi Murat
Looks like an unfinished construction site to me or section of refining plant! This is luminous with mass of detail where brown dominates so strongly but great you have found the eye catching colours up there to break the monotony, backed by good description. The low pov is impressive lends good sense of depth, space and height of the place minus human interaction. A good shot despite the circumstances. Well done, tfs
Best regards

Hello Murat,
the graphical effect that defines this composition is very attractive and intriguing. There are a lot of patterns that describe the setting and have been arranged within the frame in a smart and effective way. I like how the light and colour management has eliminated shadows and brought out this vibrant graphism. Clarity is excellent and essential for a rich composition like this. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,
Ourania
