Photographer's Note
North of the Sidna-Ali mosque are the old ruins of ancient Apollonia excavation site.
On the main picture we get a close view upon the outer walls and what was a Roman Villa dated from the first century, destroyed by an earthquake on year 127AD.
Wider view on the WS included part the Limestone cliff endangered by a possible collapse.
32.1922, 34.8065 on the map.
Picture converted from RAW, F4.0, 1/640, ISO100.

Hello Ike,
Your head picture are very nice certainly detailed.
I find your complimentary picture, the most beautiful.
We see a part of the sea, and the nice oblique rocks with the remains of the house.
Two nice pictures to look at.
Verywell done, TFS.
Best regards,
John

Hello Ike,
It's an interesting view of the ruins of the Roman villa. A trained archeologist would probably see more here than I do, but I get some idea anyway of what this may have looked like. But like John I rather prefer the WS, which shows us just as much of the ruins but also a view of the surroundings and several persons going for a walk in the pleasant weather.
Regards,
Gert

Hello Ike,
A good overview of these ancient ruins, seen from a good, somewhat higher viewpoint. The warm tones are fine and the textures and details of the stone are clearly visible.

Hello Ike,
In the photo in the WS we can see how close to the Mediterranean this ancient Roman site is located.
Still, this ruin is best represented in your main photo.
Sharpness, clarity and composition are impeccable.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Ike,
The site is impressive. The point of view is showing the details of the ancient Apollonia villa. The light is giving nice tints to the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.

Hi Ike
A good one of the old villa remains. The WS photo shows areas where it looks like there has been slippage in the past.
cheers

Hello Ike
Minutely detailed is this archeological down view on the ancient villa which, at first sight, looks as equipped of the
antediluvian forefather of a public phone booth.
Due to the high resolution of your document, I have been able
to enlarge your picture to solve the mystery!
It's easy to imagine the souls of the late ancestors hovering
as bees over this ruins site!

Hello Ike,
I like the WS photo better than the main entry. I like its diagonal lines and the contrast of the blue sky to the ground.

Hi Ike,
not that much is left from the villa. Nice reportage, also the wider scene in the workshop allows us to better imagine the setting. I like how the building materials well matched the soil around the structure.
Great reportage,

Hi Ike.
A good situation where this Roman villa was located, on the side of the hill and overlooking the sea, only remains of walls but no mosaics.
Optimal sharpness, exposure and color, an excellent POV.
Well done. I like it
Enjoy a good day.
Very best regards.
Luis.
