Photographer's Note
I agree
with Charles D. -
'Tis hard to see
how the eye evolved
continuously.
And why oh why
couldn't we have
a squid's eye?
(it's not so hot
to have a blind spot) .
Just think!
you could read
a poem that stinks
and not even blink.

The idea was good, but it is out of focus/blur. Maybe you cropped too much from an already small picture?

Hi Guluzar
Good idea but not very sharp. Maybe you could run noise ninja or something. Anyhow shoot it again, amazing potential.

sevgili gulizar üzgünüm, ADANA kebabını gördüğün için halbuki gece geç saatte yükledim kimse görmesin canı istemesin diye, ama söz istanbula gelirseniz size kebap borcum olsun, umarım o gece aç yatmamışsınızdır, çok üzüldüm. KALIN SAĞLICAKLA. Napıyım bende çok severim yemeden önce çekeyim dedim. İlerde canım isterse bakarım diye.)))))

selam,

Hello Guluzar,
A mysterious photo. More mystery added with the blur. A good crop but unfortunately the quality is effected. I'm beginning to wonder what you do. First a mysterious lady in Afghanistan, now Iraq. Both have strong & troubling emotional impact, and made more effective with poetry. I like them for being out of the ordinary. Regards. Latiff.

The way you have composed this and cropped tightly is very good. The folds on the top of her head are well lit. It has already been mentioned about the quality. I think the main reason is the file size which is only 33kb, a sixth of what is allowed. Even the 200kb allowed is a small file so this is over-compressed for the dimensions. You have an excellent eye for a good photo, but you need to use less compression when you save.

What a fantastic shot Guluzar, even if is cropped from a greater photo, this is a pic that doesn't forget, very good

Well cropped - but no definition - too much blur. The I dea is great - heavy sensation of the eyes peaking out of all the black """imposition"""
Maybe try to take out the blur??

Excellent abstract shot. Great composition and presentation. Obviously a huge crop but a very powerful image. Regards. Paul.

Hello Guluzar,
Very beautiful eyes of this woman, the eyes offer life where life is hard to comprehend.
Well done,

Hello Guluzan,
Nice idea and composition here, simple yet effective framing. I like your note also. It's just a bit soft but it adds a touch of mystery.
Cheers,
Claire

A powerful photo, Guluzar. It makes an eloquent social statement. Of course, it would be better to have a sharper photo, but there is enough redeeming grace in this image to overcome the negative.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hello
If the photo was sharp - I would simply love it...
Unfortunately this poor quality is destroying these feelings:(

Bonjour Guluzar,
Bonne idée et belle composition.
Mais, pour que la photo soit un succès, à mon point de vue, il faut que les yeux soient au foyer...
Désolé, Réjean
