Somewhere to live, a photo from Gilan, West

Photographer's Note

Here is on the hills between Gilan and Ardebil province on western parts of caspian sea where sheperds come up during summer time to find food for their sheeps and goats. It normally start blooming at the may and june. At november it starts snowing here and people leave to their winter houses by the coastline.
Scenery and people are amazing here and most of people can only speak turkish.

Salam Azadeh. People living so close to nature's beauty and far from the city's noise and bustle are to be envied and admired. Life for them is hard but the rewards are special. What a beauty! I like the contrast between all these red poppies and this grey and a bit threatening sky very much. This little hut is a nearly touching main character here. By the way - welcome to TE!

Olá Azadeh, welcome to trekearth. Wonderful first post. The flowers make a great impression filling the whole foreground but still opening the curtain for the house and distant mountains. It would be interesting to compare with another photo of the same place taken now, problably full of snow...

You make a good start with this one
The red poppies in the uphill diagonal as the FG are a great intro to the house at the BG
The contrast with the the dark grey sky is impressive and works quite well

Hi Azadeh,
I like how the red flowers take half the frame! The contrast with the dark sky is amazing! You obviously had a lot of work to do to light up the flowers and the house, but it works really well!

Great composition and colors. Moody sky doesn't disturb the picture, but rather play good contrast with poppies.

This is equally impressive landscape, and what so nice is the contrast between grey sky and the red flowers.
Creative pov by placing the main focal at right position whilst the blooming reds on the slope attract viewers to hover further beyond. Great dof with pleasing depth. Excellent color saturation and contrast. Well done shot, TFS.
