Photographer's Note
Yesterday the sky was blue and there were signs of spring in the cold, crisp air. With the sun setting in the west I am sure many Shepherds were happy, for today was a beautiful day. Red sky at night, shepherds delight.. as the old saying goes....
Here is a picture of yesterday's sunset over the swollen river Thames. There has been a lot of rain in recent weeks and the river here, at the top of the tide, was 2ft above the tow-path.
I have done very little pp to this photograph, beyond a slight levels adjustment, resize and frame. I also used a circular polariser.
I hope you like it!

Hi Casper,
I love the rich dark colors of the sky and of the reflection in the water. I general like it to see the photo a bit sharper, however in this case the slight out of focus give it a gentler and softer feel and melancholy mood. It fits the setting and time of day. Thanks for sharing and keep shooting. I love photograph the water scene too. It adds another dimension to photography. There are reflections, glare and sometimes motion in the water, all that can make it really good or sometimes not so good. You can play with many different settings and get a variety of results of the same location.
