Photographer's Note

These are relics from one of the WW2 D-Day embarkation points on the south coast of England. Every time I photograph this place I think about the people that left from this beach to go to Normandy. The moody day only helped to emphasise that. I just dont think it would have had the same effect with bright sunshine.
