Photographer's Note
Another picture taken from Mount Snowdon in North Wales. This image is taken from much higher up than my previous posts and from the ridge where the last short climb to the summit (just out of picture on the right) begins.
Purely as a picture I don't think this is one of my favourites, the light and colours are not as good as the others taken in this area I think, but I thought it a sight worth sharing nevertheless.

Now you've got the juices flowing ! But hell, what have they done to my mountain ?! Steps ? Paths ? Crowds ? Last time here I ran down the screes ! But it was a looooong time ago !
Lovely clear day, but your self critique is right, the colours have gone to pot ! But you are right again, it is worth sharing..

Hello James
Excellent POV and perspective has created the desired effect. The detail and shadows on the mountains are good. I like the stony path and inclusion of walkers.
Best wishes

Hi James,
compared to the others this one is a little overexposed on the upper part but you did right to post it, the view surely worth it.

At last I can see this place!
I visited Wales long ago and climbed Mount Snowdon... but I could not see anything because of the fog!
I really like your composition with a great depth given by the foot path and the lovely sight of the lakes.
Are you from this part of Britain?
Cheers,
Donato

I love the perspective in this photo and am so glad you shared it. To me, even the colors are pleasing, lending an ethereal, dream-like quality. In fact, I love each of the photos you've shared in this whole series. Just wonderful! Thank You!

HI James
Much higher but the light's just as lovely. The image is so crisp and well-defined and the colours are strong but not overly so. I like how you;ve included the people in the left hand corner as they give us an idea of scale but also height.
TFS and I wish you a lovely day

Hello James,
A great elevated point of view, overlooking this rugged mountain landscape!
The two lakes are attracting attention, and the play of light and shade adds life to the landscape...
A well framed scene, the human factor taken care of!
Greetings,

Hi James
i agree with you that its not a picture-perfect photo in terms of quality, but its not that bad either.
you're right about the views, a photo well worth taking and adding to your personal gallery.
For some reason i didn't picture wales being so hilly like this.
a very attractive view for sure, and a memorable hike.
cheers
craig
