Photographer's Note
The second shot taken on this frosty morning. This one maximises the foreground and includes a warmer range of colours, as the morning sun begins to thaw the frost.

This is really beautiful Adam. Quite honestly, I am not the biggest fan of landscapes, but this one is just so well done. Great colors, and the pathway leading from the bottom is compositionally excellent. Quite honestly, this is one of the strongest landscape images on this site. Excellent work.

Excellent exposure, composition, lighting, colours, sharpness... infact, I'd be hard pushed to find anything wrong with this photo!
The track through the heather and bracken leads the eye perfectly through the frame to the tree, while the frost on the vegetation, and the mist in the background add an extra special dimension to this picture.
If this is an easy spot for you to reach, I'd love to see a series of shots at different times of year, and different conditions... thick snow, spring greens, summer, autumn colours... would look fantastic!

Very nice indeed. Proof that Britains landscapes can be just as dramatic as the worlds most exotic destinations. Prefectly captures those rare, crisp winter days that keep up your spirit when the nights draw in.

This one is a little gem (don't mean lettuce!), Adam!
Amazing range of colours for this time of year (unknown to me, in Scarborough).
Lucky you! Well done with all elements!

Perfect! I like the color carpet and the angle! The croping and the framing are also excellent! So pleasant and attractive that it could be the perfect book cover!

La palette de couleurs melée au grivre offre un rendu magnifique.
Bravo.
