Photographer's Note

A pleasant day at last - compare this view of the west end of Victoria harbour with the same view a week earlier. The low midday sun shows up the stones which are all that is left of Dunbar Castle.
The tides were still high enough for the lifeboat to enter and leave the harbour at any time of day or night, but it has now gone back to its sea moorings at Torness. This year's first callout was on Saturday, 21 Feb:
Dunbar Lifeboat was paged by Forth MRSC at 1313 today after two divers from the dive charter vessel 'Silver Sky' made a rapid ascent without decompression. The all weather lifeboat 'John Neville Taylor' was quickly launched and heading towards the scene.
