Photographer's Note

Brilliant sunshine this morning after the gloom of the past days. This was taken from the road along the east beach looking up towards the High Street which was built on the ancient 'raised beach' 25m above sea level.
The chimneypots of the older houses are not much used nowadays. Just beyond the tree on the left you can see the top of the spire on the Town House, with a gull perched on its finial.

Cropped, auto-enhanced, USM. Actual pixels size.
