Photographer's Note

A couple of years ago when I bought my SLR, I wondered whether the Tokina wide angle lens I was buying with it was a good idea. I had doubts about how much I would use it. After all, I thought, how often do I need a really wide shot?

Very often, as it turns out. This is just one example of how versatile a good wide-angle lens is, allowing me to get both the detail of the Giant's Causeway and the surrounding landscape. Not the most beautiful of days, granted, but the landscape is hard to beat.
