Photographer's Note

Taken while heading home after photographing Slemish from the other side, and nearly being eaten alive by midges!

This is a popular location with photographers as it's a clear view of the familiar Ballymena side of Slemish. Happily, the sun was in the right position for the rainbow to form over the mountain!

In my panic I didn't use a tripod, but couldn't risk not putting the nd grad filter on. Somehow I managed to hold the camera steady enough to get a sharp shot. The rainbow lasted long enough to get a few more shots with the tripod set up, but I think this handheld one was the best.

Thanks for looking.
