Photographer's Note

This is the first image I am posting from another walk. It was the first day of the year that it was warm enough to venture out without a coat. The walk is a circular walk starting and ending at the Ship Inn in Saltburn. No driving involved for us so refreshments can be taken at the pub. On this photo you can just see the Ship Inn halfway down on the left. The start of the walk is up the path behind the Ship to the cliffs and is part of the famous Cleveland Way long distance walk. You can also see the pier (check out the theme for more photos and information on Saltburn and the pier). The red and cream striped buildings are little beach chalets which are rented from the council, and you can see the Teesside industry in the distance.
Since I have been using RAW one or two people have commented that the photos are too saturated when in fact I haven’t increased saturation at all on any of the RAW posts. On this one I have reduced saturation. What do you think? I am feeling a little more confident about conversion but am still very much at the experimental stage.
For the complementary shot in the WS I left the saturation as it was.
