Photographer's Note

I was so impressed with the view of the Saltburn Pier at the blue hour that I have to show you one more photo of it. This time I included a fragment of the Saltburn Cliff Tramway in the foreground. Here you can see a similar sight in a daylight:

I was not sure how to title the previous photo. It reminded me some spaceship terminals from Star Wars. I really wanted to call it “Spaceship terminal” but I decided to go with the more scientific name “Nautical dusk”. While imagining how the spaceships could be docking there, yet another name came to my mind: “Angels Landing”. It is actually a real name of another very different place. It is a rock formation in Zion National Park in Utah. It requires quite a challenging hike to get there but you are rewarded with spectacular views.

Funny enough there is a funicular which travels down a steep hill in downtown Los Angeles, which is called "Angels Flight". At the first sight it actually resembles the historic funicular which you see in this photo.
