We are so biased in our opinions about what is beautiful and what is not. I remember when I lived in Los Angeles, for a year I could not afford a car so the closest beach available by public transportation was for me the beach in Santa Monica. For a year I have visited it so often that it became quite boring to me. Later when I bought a cheap car and was able to explore other Californian beaches the feeling grew even deeper. I didn’t even want to stop on Santa Monica anymore. Ironically, five years later when I visited California again, Santa Monica appeared to me so beautiful that I had tears in my eyes.

Well after this introduction I present to you a beach in Saltburn. It is currently the closest beach from where I live now 😊 It is quite charming but the major advantage for me is that it is close. If I have limited time I head straight there. Last two days were warm so I spent two afternoons in Saltburn. The beach appearance has changed a lot, when we arrived it was still the high tide and we watched the sea going away while eating fish and chips.

Few years ago I had the pleasure to walk this beach together with emka 😊
