pretty great Kaj,
Again...master of the POV...so close in there it is like being a part of whole business...love the lighting as well...and of course that disembodied arm dividing the frame in two.
Cheers

Kaj.
Magic of yellow tones...
A girl in red in bokeh is center of attraction for me...she is cute..with this red..
apperence of Hand I love that...
I still feel CIG should be more prominent & red spot of cig & smoke certainly help here.
Well done as usual.

Hi Kajal,
This pic could be used in a beer commercial :) You've managed to capture Friday night PUB atmosphere very well.
Best regards and thanks for sharing

I like the arm cutting acoss the frame as well, and the clutter and tight crop catches the Friday night scene very well.
Good ironic title - is that an England shirt he's wearing?
Cheers

Good evening Kaj
I like very much this ambaince of bar, we can hear the noises of the conversations. I like that everybody mixes in the photo, the arms, the glances cross themselves. For me it is the expression of the conviviality.
congrats
Pascal

Nice moment captured here with your usual "fly-on-the-wall" flare. This one could almost be an advertising shot...for beer, for condoms, for not smoking, I'm not sure; and that's not a bad thing because the best advertising now rivals photojournalism in style and immediacy. I like the setting and relaxed mood.
Cheers,
Francis

That arm cutting through the middle is just exquisite. So nice to see a natural division of frame, you froze it well!
Perhaps not so much fags around there (just one?!) but the overall atmosphere you've got is impressive, further enhanced by the warm tonality of the pic. I don't see any thing 'wrong' here - but maybe not enough beer n fags visible ;)
Very good pic to me.
Cheers.

a great pub scene... compo is fine (in fact quite exquisite) but the orangy colour cast is a too much for me here... in fact i'm not even sure if i like it at all.. perhaps if it were toned down... may try a ws later..

I was typing a comment on this the other day when the computer froze. Great compo with the two arms, only one of which is in focus, which is pleasing to the eye. I like the colouring of this, and the rather dissolute looking bloke to the right, clutching his bottle. Really good, close crop, and the action caught just at the right moment as the beer goes into the glass.

Andrew

Good situation shot... Your subject of photography seems quite interesting: I will have a closer look later...
Indeed it seems a problem among youth (and not only youth)in Britain: so many of them on booze...
Partly it might be the result of closing pubs at 11pm (they planned to change it a few months ago but I don't know what was the outcome)...
On the other hand going to pub and having some beers is a natural way of behaviour/ environmental upbringing (culture might be a too big word for it)... still the border between use and abuse seems too be somehow blurry...

Kajal.
You have a magical touch in composition. The expressions and the tones add to the frames beauty. A beautifull concept for a commercial...
