Photographer's Note
A couple of years ago I took this photo down at the Lighthouse in Niton.
I wondered how it would look if I brightened the Milky Way, so I tried and this was the result.
It may be a little too over processed but I did a test print and it looks amazing once printed!
Your opinions will help me decide if it is too OTT or not :)

Hello Jamie
The milky way surely looks awesome...My humble take is you could have reduced the exposure of the lighthouse lights because to some extent they are taking away our attention from the milky way...its difficult exposure you managed here...a strong light & bringing out details from the dark area...

Hi Jamie
Another great photograph featuring starry sky! I like the way you combined that part of the image with the landscape below and artificial light beams from the lighthouse.
Best wishes

Hi Jamie
always pays off to revisit old shots and see them in a fresh light (excuse the pun). It makes for a fascinating image this and I would say not too OTT. It is original I will give you that and your processing has brought out all the detailing amazingly. Have you thought about a grey gradient to perhaps darken the lower half of the shot to slightly reduce the fg brightness, just a thought. Like it though!
Brian.
