Photographer's Note
Another photo from our recent visit to Tweddle Childrens Farm (see Theme). This friendly Parrot was opening peanuts, but always seemed to drop the nut once he got the shell open.
I like the way the hold them in one claw, like it was a hand, while they open them. It's a trait of the Parrot family, as we have a Parakeet that does the same thing...very amusing to watch.
I like the bright colours in this photo. As with the previous photo, it was taken by putting the lens up to one of the holes in the chicken wire that the aviary was made from. Again, a nice twinkle in the eye.

Hey Mark another amusing shot of an animal eating! I like the way again you have managed to squeeze your lens through the cage, but n this shot I am put off by the flash, it certainly brings out the colours on the birds body and wings, but I feel that around the head area, especially the beak and the nut it is a touch too bright. Perhaps you could darken this area without spoiling the colours in the rest of the photo too much.
I think you have inspired me to post a parrot photo today, I wasnt going to bother because I thoguht it may be a phot omore suited to TN but I think we can learn from it so I will give it a go.
