Photographer's Note
Corfe Castle was orginally destroyed by Oliver Cromwell, but it was so solidly built that much of the walls remained. I captured this one evening and was pleased with the effect it produced.
I cropped the picture slightly on the top (removing a visible telephone wire) and increased the saturation to the colour that I originally observed.

Hi Andre,
A very well composed and dramatic shot of the castle. I might have cropped just a little of the foreground, but that is very minor. The flaming sky and remarkable silhouettes create a remarkable scene. Well captured, Andre.

I love this shot - it brings back memories of my days at university when a group of us used to visit the castle every year. Stunning sunset and lots of feeling. Fab!
