hello Les,

Rather simple view, just the field on the plane and the fence on the diagonal but the dry tree with the ivy and amazing sky make it exceptional. Fantastic colours.

Hello Leslie,

A study of Nature at bedtime!
The tree is the most important element, giving focal interest, its waving braches indicating the direction and mimicking the wavy lines of the clouds.
It is simple but very eye-catching.

The sky is as tormented as the bare tree, indicating that strong winds are blowing in this area. Good framing with the fence diagonal line and the contrast of the still meadow and the moving clouds in the sky

Good morning Les,

As soon as I spotted this one I was immediately reminded of this lovely photograph but, clearly, this is not the same tree! But the composition is similarly excellent with the old tree perfectly placed in the frame and making a fine connection between the bright green freshly mown field and the glorious late evening sky above. The diagonal line of the hedge is well placed too.

But what a sky! The gradations from deep blue above to yellow/orange at the horizon are wonderful and those cloud formations are stunning.

An excellent photograph, very well seen and very well taken with glorious light and colours, perfect exposure and exquisite details and sharpness.

Hello Les,
That sky is superb; divine lights and colours and those magnificent swirling clouds. Excellent composition as well, with the tree making a great focal point and the hedge guiding us ever further into the scene. It is good to still see a landscape with hedges these days; in lots of places they have been grubbed out to make life easier for the farmer and resulting in a loss of natural habitat at the same time.

Comment ne pas s'arrêter devant le spectacle d'un ciel aussi beau et surtout aussi expressif. L'arbre sur la gauche est un superbe ajout. Les couleurs sont splendides.

This one is also great. A tree covered with ivies and backed with a wonderfull sunset.

Those clouds look like a result of a furious painter! Very special ambience on this one. Tree leaning to the same direction as the edge of the field looks good to me too.

An excellent composition of empty field with the single death tree. The shape of the branches almost similar to the clouds above. This way makes very artistic photo. Well done with great quality.
