Photographer's Note

I live near the Imperial War Museum Duxford. In 2007 it is to open a new air museum called Airspace. To celebrate the type of aircraft that will go on display in this new hangar they held an Airspace airshow today (21 May 2006).

The highlight of this show for me was the BAe Eurofighter Typhoon - the first time it has flown at Duxford. Although in the air for only three minutes I was able to capture this shot.

The weather was very wet, there was a fresh wind and cloud cover was very low - entirely appropriate for a 'plane called Typhoon.

I was very fortunate that these conditions enabled the trails that you see here. Less fortunate that I had to brave this weather for two hours though!
