Photographer's Note

Zurich Marathon / athletes still stand the pace after approx. 30 km. I'm full of respect to them.
Specially like the DOF of this pic.

This is an excellent representation of the marathon race, the abscence of colour serves to remove one distraction and concentrates my attention on each of the runners' expressions. I too like the DOF- makes the shot seem three dimensional.

Only niggle is the runner on the far left being cut in half but these things can happen in such a fluid environment.

Good shot, the expression of their face are well captured. The use of B&W work good here. If i way comment: I would crop the top (just under the light) to give more mass to the runners.Well done
