Photographer's Note

Against day at the end of the day on the lake Léman. First estival day for this season 2006 which with really sorrow to begin it. The reflection in surrounded of black gives to this image a size with the sailing ship. The photograph at summer taken since another boat with the great angle of 24 mm.

Hi Urs,
Great picture ! The red is very attractive. It "catches" the eye . I like the blurred reflection in the water.

Hi Urs,
A very attractive image that immediatly caught my eye.the bright red of the sail quite amazing and the reflection on the oily calm water has a lovely effect.Nicely framed though maybe a touch tight at the top.Like the diamand light at right.A very pleasant image.

Love it. The sharpness, colour, exposure.... although what happened with the burnt top right? Pity. And it's a bit tight at the top.

L'association de ces couleurs que ce soit en surface ou dans les reflets est fantastique.

A beautifull red, both in the sail and in its reflexion. Very good neatness on the lake water. Framing is a bith tigh though, and you have a very little (really, very little) tilt on the left in my mind.

Alors là... oh mon Dieu!
Une photo comme je n'en ai jamais vu! Tellement claire au niveau des détails, profond au niveau des couleurs et une composition sans faille.
L'eau à l'air tellement douce que ça me donne envie de m'y plonger tout de suite! :D

J'adore le fait que le personnage sur le bateau est à peine visible, laissant l'oeil se régaler des douces formes de la nature et du voile. Puis quand enfin on voit ce caractère, il est tranquille, étalé, comme on souhaiterait l'être quand on voit cette photo sublime.

C'est du côté Lausanne ou Montreux?
Ca me fait regretter d'être partie de Genève encore un peu plus....

Alors là... merci!

Après avoir critiqué tes commentaires, je voualis quand mem venir voir ta galerie.
J'espère que tu ne l'as pas mal pris....mais c'était vraiment un peu trop gros.
J'aime bien celle-ci, ce rouge saturé est superbe et donne un sacré contraste.
Le pdv assez proche de l'eau et ce sentiment d'eau lisse est superbe.
Joli reflet de la voile, et la petite touche de reflet du soleil est sympa.
Un contre jour pas évident.

Bonjour Urs,

La couleur est éclatante avec le soleil qui frappe dessus ! J'aime beaucoup l'effet de matière de la voile, celle de la surface de l'eau. La seule chose, c'est que j'aurai plutôt pris la photo à la verticale.

Beautiful photo, the water with the reflections, the sunlight in the water and the red boat. Simple and powerful composition.
I have the opportunity to see lake Leman, it is indeed one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, you are a lucky man to live there. Or maybe I am luckier, because I can dream about it...

I like this one, its the red that does it. Nice clear image although I would crop the right hand side as it does nothing for the photo except show the over exposure. I will try a workshop as this is a very nice image
