Photographer's Note

Threshold of a garage door, close to the "Place de la Planta", in Sion.

I found interesting the geometry, the colors and the textures of that door.

Yes, I agree that this is a pleasing image based on the angular geometry. The exposed triangular piece on the left side adds just the right touch of interest.

Another fine piece of geometry Isabelle. I particularly like the new pice of wood (repair ?) which contrast with the old. Well found.

Encore un chef d'oeuvre à pour mes yeux.

Je sais pas tu aurais pu centrer le milieu de la porte pour rendre la photo triste que je puisse un jour dire du mal de tes photos !
Mais non tu as pensée à decentrer !

Assurement à mes yeux, la photographe la plus complete de ce site.

I like this one too, Isabelle. Very interesting to explore the patterns, lines and texture. I also enjoy how the left, "browner" triangle breaks the regularity of the surrounding elements.
I will refrain from making a comment on horizontal or vertical tilting this time ;-) Perfect as it is.

Abstrait et concret il y'a un beau mélange la présentation décentré et joli et la place maîtresse est bien occupé

Absolutely wonderful textures and lines Isabelle and the new piece in the left door even makes it so much stronger. Great composition and thanks for not putting the crack between the doors in the centre of the picture.

Le temps fait bien les choses.....il n`y a qu`à regarder cette scêne.....et le talent que seul lui, peut donner à quelqu`un comme toi, pour prendre de si belles images....

Perfect. The sample, light and composition they are just perfect. Enviable sharpness. The nails, so small elements, they are the crucial point of the composition. And missing planks that uncover the new-found planks...I have no words. Perfect.
