Derborence, a photo from Valais, West

Photographer's Note

This is Derborence, high above Sion in the Canton of Valais. Derborence is reached by a scary single-track road with a galleried section where the road follows the side of a deep ravine. Despite this, it's something of a magnet for daytrippers, hikers and, of course, photographers.

This is from the downstream end of the lake which was formed after a rockfall in the 18th century blocked the Derbonne river, looking north.

tu as aussi été à Derborence, on s'est peut-être coisé, très belle iamge de cette belle régio, j'espèrque que tu as aimé la visite et la ballade, avec la Morges, superbe.
