Swiss Roof, a photo from Zurich, East

Photographer's Note

Just to the north of the old part of Zurich there is a tiny park. It's on the top of a small hill and it gives a great vantage point over the houses around. Looking down on the roofs gives a very different perspective of the city.

I was particularly drawn to this building with its vibrant red dormer windows and the small chimney standing out from the grey tiled roof.

This image has a lot of humour (on purpose?), when I look I laugh. It is almost toy-like.

Neat, very neat photo!
I like the composition and contrast of colors. The POV is interesting, gives the expression of some kind of toy house :)

I love the artistic result in here. The composition is very well suceeded, with a good placement of the three dormer windows and the chimney. I love the texture of the roof and the pattern from the tiles. The lighting is enhancing beautifully these effects.
