Stora Hamnkanalen

I'm back from my trip to the city of Göteborg in Sweden and here's my first picture of it.
It shows you Stora Hamnkanalen (Big Harbour Canal) with on the right side Stadshuset (City Council) and Christinae Kyrka or Tyska Kyrkan (German Church).

Tyska Kyrkan was completed in 1748 after 14 years work. Before that year there already had been a wooden church and a stone church on the same place. The tower of this church was completed in 1783.

Göteborg (English: Gothenburg) is the second biggest city in Sweden with almost 500,000 citizens. The city is located on the western coast at both sides of the river Göta Älv.
Göteborg was founded in 1621 by King Gustaf II Adolf.

All the days I've been in Göteborg the weather was great, also last Monday, when I took this picture.
I hope you like it!
