Photographer's Note

From the late 19th, large textile mills and factories sprang up along Norrkoeping's swift-flowing Motala stroem. Today this industrial-revolution architecture, complete with canals, locks and waterfalls, is a fine example of inner-city regeneration. Pedestrian walkways and bridges lead around ingenioous system of water systems along the riverside giving many of interesting industrial-past views. Hope you enjoy that.

A good capture of the industrial nature of this water way. The exposure works well and the colours and detail are well brought out, thanks to the blue hour. Nice sharpness in the picture and a good point of view, though I probably would have placed the cascading edge of the water flow leading from the corner of the picture instead of one third of the way in. There is some slight over exposure in the highlights, again an ND filter would have helped you there. Overall, and excellent effort. Thanks for sharing.

I just discovered your gallery and you have a collection of splendid shots there! Event though it's not mentionned in the photo info, I assume you have used a tripod and a long exposure time here to get this still effect on the water in the foreground. The photo is well composed with this center line leading our eye to the buildings in the back. A beautiful blue hour shot.

Very nice. The colours and light are perfect. This picture expresses peacefulness. the depth of field is reaaly as perfect as the sharpness. The exposure time you choos is really appropriate in this case.
