Photographer's Note

The church of San Martin is of Mozarabic origin and has one of the most beautiful Romanesque atria in Segovia, which surrounds the church on three sides.

The current structure is Romanesque, it consists of apses with Romanesque decoration and a portal at the foot of the church with beautifully decorated archivolts. In the center of the nave is the tower of the three-section church. The atrium has semicircular arches that rest on columns with Romanesque capitals.


La iglesia de San Martin es de origen mozárabe y posee uno de los más bellos atrios románicos de Segovia, que rodea a la iglesia por tres de sus lados.

La estructura actual es románica, consta de ábsides con decoración románica y portada a los pies de la iglesia con arquivoltas bellamente decoradas. En el centro de la nave está la torre de la iglesia de tres cuerpos. El atrio tiene arcos de medio punto que descansan sobre columnas con capiteles románicos.
