A charming alley, a photo from Cadiz, Andalucia

Photographer's Note

I took this photo in Arcos de la Frontera (Cadiz), during a nice walk across its streets and its white traditional architecture, with our friends Ángel (cornejo) and his wife Toñi, which we met and we spent a very nice day.
They were excellent guides to learn about those wonderful Andalusian white villages, and gave us their sincere friendship.

Here you can see a typical tavern of the place, with traditional elements like the white walls with doors framed in yellow, gratings, plants and flower-pots, lampposts, and in this case, a barrel of wine and a few stools to enjoy a glass on the outside.

Dedicated to our dear friends Toñi and Ángel.

Tomé esta foto en Arcos de la Frontera (Cádiz), durante una bonito paseo a través de sus callejuelas y de su blanca arquitectura tradicional, con nuestros amigos Ángel (cornejo) y su esposa Toñi, con los que nos encontramos y pasamos un día muy bonito.
Ellos fueron unos excelentes guías para conocer esos maravillosos pueblos blancos andaluces, y nos regalaron su sincera amistad.

Aquí podéis ver una típica taberna del lugar, con los elementos tradicionales como las paredes blancas con las puertas enmarcadas en amarillo, las rejas, las plantas y maceteros, las farolas, y en este caso, un barril de vino y unos taburetes para disfrutar un vaso en el exterior.

Dedicada a nuestros queridos amigos Toñi y Ángel.

Your second picture is a nice addition with the members.

You choose a lovey camera angle, this gives depth and perspective, with a nice sight on the façades.

It is always intriguing to see TE members meeting's, get to know faces always behind the TE posts.
Nice pic. on the WS, my cong.s' for taht.
View onto the narrow alley, a typical of this town we got to know through Angel's photos, a beautiful wine barrel stand contrast to the white walls.

Very good capture of this alleyway and its many details. The different elements are nicely seen against the white wall and especially the repetition of the blue flower pots is nice. Good shooting angle too.

A charming and inviting little corner of this, I just love the olde feel and atmosphere- could wander around here for hours! Looks supremely lovely under that light and shades brightened by speck of vivid colour and all the cute adornments. This a gem of the old town kept so clean and tidy too with just the right human input. Well done shot, Congrats.

This is a charming scene, with lovely colorful accents. I like the blue flowerpots and yellow paint around the door. The stone floor and black board with the menu are more lovely details. It's nice to see someone entering the frame by bicycle in the distance, too. Forgive me for writing in English today. I'm a bit lazy at the moment. :-)

Une plaisante ruelle avec cette façade bien décorée, bon contraste de teintes sur ce fond de mur clair, bon effet de profondeur avec la vue du bout de la rue à droite.

Hola amigo Josep.
Preciosa la composición en diagonal, de esta bonita fachada tan característica, con todos los elementos que adornan las mismas en esas tierras, bonito toque de color de las macetas en azul y el amarillo que recerca la puerta, lo cual crea un bonito contraste con el blanco dominante.
Celebro que pasarais un buen dia con Angel, yo aun no he tenido oportunidad de conocerle, aunque bajo todos los años a Andalucia.
Como es habitual una buena gestión, tanto de la luminosidad como de la nitidez, lo cual da gran calidad a la imagen. Este tipo de rincones me encanta, asi que la foto me hace disfrutar.
Que lo paséis muy bien en este fin de semana.

Hello Josep,

Missed this one. I like the repetition of the blue pots bedecking the white walls and adding a Greek look and feel. The yellow stripes around the door add a suitable warm cold colour contrast. Good sharpness and framing. Tfs!
