Here is a shot taken at Carrer Monti-Sion in the heart of old town of Palma de Mallorca. In the Middle Ages the place was occupied by Jewish community. Carrer Monti-Sion is also known as Call Major. Hope you like these sweet yellow-orange tonality!

there is something about these narrow little Spanish streets that is both romantic and enticing. This shot captures the atmosphere and the perspectives so clearly and beautifully. Lots of character and yes I love the subtle mellow tones here too. Execution perfect as always.

I like very much this presentation of the elegant, antique alley. You managed perspective and depth wonderfully, the broad vertical frame is full of interest and so inviting. There are interesting architectural details all over and the street scene is delightful. You captured the intricate play of light and shadow very aptly, the "sweet yellow-orange tonality" consists of a rich palette of harmonious hues. The history and the interiors of this neighbourhood must be most intriguing too. Congratulations and thank you!

Hello Gosia,
An image with a very pleasant atmosphere to it. Our view is naturally funnelled down the narrow street toward the focal point offered by the group of people passing the time of day. I like the warm light and colours and the dappled light across the pavement. Very good light management in a situation that was not easy to control.

On a l'impression d'être dans un tunnel très profond ou la lumière a de la difficulté à pénétrer même en plein jour. Pourtant les détails ressortent très bien.

Hi Gosia,

The warm tones really take hold of this image, but in a very pleasant manner. In fact, it plays right along with the warm and quaint nature of this old street, made even more friendly by the small group of people we see in the near distance. I can virtually hear their faint conversation from here. :) A wonderful composition as well, the lengthy perspective is outstanding, and coupled with the vertical framing really gives this a great deal of depth. Hello Gosia,

You captured the essence of Palma de Mallorca in this street near the market. Just a year ago in August we traipsed around these historic streets. The warm colors characterize the area's architecture.

Excelent light management and DOF through the narrow street. The baige and brown colors are dominating, so those local people with the dogs, and the young lady who approachs - gave life to the scene.
