Photographer's Note

Again with my old APS. I love this camera. Really was my first camera and I have enjoyed really this one.
I know that this is not the kind of photo that someone could say: is really attractive, but I hope you like.
Here the story:

Covarrubias. Whose name comes from “blond caves”, or the same, red coloured caves.

Covarrubias is an small but very kind village in the bank of Arlanza river, who is lucky cause of being at only 13 km from Quintanilla del Coco. Not only this, Covarrubias also has other important things like the Doña Urraca´s Torreón (mossarab), it´s "colegiata", Berruguete´s panels and Van Eyck paints, the triptic of "la Adoración de los Magos", the norvegian princess tomb (I think she was norvegian); it also has it´s cherry, the Arlanza river that crosses the village, it´s bridge, the nearing San Pedro de Arlanza, and it´s morcillas (blood sauvage). It´s medieval structure is envydiable and it´s architechture is one of the best conserved of the traditional architechture.

And more things.
I could also say that points up cause I bouhgt there my bike (well, that happened 15 years ago, but it stills work properly good).

But it has more things.
There are the Mamblas, sugerent mountains with chests shape that you can see from so far, and is there and in the arlanza river where you can find many caves which give the name to the village (underwater ones like "Fuente Azul")
And it´s history? The name of castile is related to the Fernán González´s as Fernán González´s is to Covarrubias´. And also are the "glosas covarrubienses", and the Divino Valles doctor.... many things...

And avobe all, it`s only at 13 km from Quintanilla del Coco.
