I took this photo at the blue hour during my first evening in Seville, because the time was splendid and there was a great visibility. From the Bridge of Saint Telmo, with a small tripod on its structure, I could select a very slow exposure time combined with a high F value, in RAW, trying to obtain the maximum quality of image.
In the scene you can see the Torre del Oro at right side, and in background Triana's Bridge and César Pelli's tower.

In spite of the presence of some crane, I like the result.

The Torre del Oro from Seville is an albarran tower placed on the left bank of the Guadalquivir river, in the city of Seville, close to the bullring of the Royal Maestranza. It's 36 meters high. Possibly its name in Arab was Bury-al-dahab, Borg-al-Azahar, or Borg-al-Azajal in reference to its golden sheen that was reflected on the river. During the restoration works in 2005, there was demonstrated that this sheen, which till then was assuming to a coating blue roller, was due to a mixture of mortar of lime and pressed-straw.

It is a tower formed by three bodies. The first body, dodecagonal, was constructed between 1220 and 1221 on order of the almohad governor of Seville, Abù l-Ulà. Pedro I the Cruel give the order to build the second body, dodecagonal also, in the XIV century. The top body, cylindrical and finished off as a dome, was constructed in 1760 by the military engineer Sebastián Van der Borcht.

It was declared as a Historical-artistic monument in 1931 and has been restored several times. In the Contemporary Age it was restored in 1900, between 1991 and 1992, in 1995 and in 2005. In its conservation the labor of the Navy has been important.It is in a good condition of conservation and shelters the Naval Museum of Seville.

Tomé esta foto a la hora azul durante mi primer atardecer en Sevilla, porque el tiempo era espléndido y había una gran visibilidad. Desde el Puente de San Telmo, con un pequeño trípode sobre su estructura, pude seleccionar una exposición muy lenta combinada con un alto valor f, en RAW, para intentar conseguir la máxima calidad de imagen.
En la escena podéis ver la Torre del Oro a la derecha, y al fondo el Puente de Triana y la torre de César Pelli.

A pesar de la presencia de alguna grúa, me gusta el resultado.

La Torre del Oro de Sevilla es una torre albarrana situada en la margen izquierda del río Guadalquivir, en la ciudad de Sevilla, junto a la plaza de toros de la Real Maestranza. Su altura es de 36 metros. Posiblemente su nombre en árabe era Bury al-dahab, Borg al Azahar, o Borg-al-Azajal en referencia a su brillo dorado que se reflejaba sobre el río. Durante las obras de restauración de 2005, se demostró que este brillo, que hasta entonces se atribuía a un revestimiento de azulejos, era debido a una mezcla de mortero de cal y paja prensada.

Es una torre formada por tres cuerpos, El primer cuerpo, dodecagonal, fue construido entre 1220 y 1221 por orden del gobernador almohade de Sevilla, Abù l-Ulà. El segundo cuerpo, también dodecagonal, fue mandado construir por Pedro I el cruel en el siglo XIV. El cuerpo superior, cilíndrico y rematado en cúpula, fue construido en 1760 por el ingeniero militar Sebastián Van der Borcht.

Fue declarada monumento histórico-artístico en 1931 y ha sido restaurada varias veces. En la Edad Contemporánea fue restaurada en 1900, entre 1991 y 1992, en 1995 y en 2005.4 9 En su conservación ha sido importante la labor de la Armada. Se encuentra en buen estado de conservación y alberga el Museo Naval de Sevilla.
