Photographer's Note
Granada, a beautiful city in the South of Spain is home to a large number of stray dogs. They wander the streets alone, in packs, or alongside those living a nomadic lifestyle.
We had spent the whole day wandering around and came through the plaza by the cathedral on our way home at dusk. The street lights had started coming on, a group of young musicians was improvising together and alongside them a very young puppy was teasing this dog. Eventually the puppy got him excited so they started to play. Here he is, in a resting but ready position, preparing for the puppy's pounce.
I just loved the way the lights reflected off of these beautiful flagstones - smooth from centuries of travellers passing over them - and the dog's seemingly relaxed state ears perked and ready.

Hi Cora,
I really like the tight composition giving anyhow some space to the weary attitude of the dog! The golden hour enriches your pic giving it some sort of magic. I only regret the lack of sharpness on the dog, slightly out of focus. 'cause to me it's him the point of interest, not the pavement ;o)
All the best,
Pris.
