Photographer's Note
To Triglav , 2864 m.
Triglav is the highest mountain in Slovenia and the highest peak of the Julian Alps. While its name, meaning "three-headed", can describe its shape as seen from the Bohinj area, the mountain was most probably named after the Slavic god Triglav. This hypothesis has been disputed, as the nature of this deity remains obscure, and its worship is not documented among the pagan ancestors of Slovenes.[citation needed] The mountain is the preeminent symbol of the Slovene nation. A stylized depiction of its distinctive shape is the central element of the Slovenian coat of arms, and is in turn featured on the flag of Slovenia (and, formerly, on the coat of arms of the Socialist Republic of Slovenia). A photorealistic relief of the mountain is the design on the national side of the Slovenian 50 eurocent coin.

Hi Gregg,
Climbing this mountain must be awesome and also very hard!
I like the plane captured by the climbers on the fog line and seizing the image behind.A great POV with different levels in the image and contrast!
Have a nice day

Hello Grzegorz,
I like this picture because of the people on the ridge. Moreover, the clouds around the mountain are impressives.
The sharpness is excellent.

Hello Greg - You have captured the unforgiving terrain very well here. The sharp rocks in the FG and the people walking on the knife-edge stand out very clearly against the soft misty BG. Not a walk for the faint-hearted! Best regards Rosemary

Hi Grzegorz
Good POV on the climbers on the crest with their silhouettes against the clouds. The mountains fading in the mist make a fine backdrop.
Perfect light and sharp details

Czesc Grzegorz,
ta mgielka dodaje smaczku. Szczegolnie ze pojawia sie w dwoch miejscach. Ludzie natomiast sa swietnymi miernikami skali oraz wprowadzaja atmosfere przygody.
Ciekawy kontrast miekkich puszystych chmur z surowymi szorstkimi skalami.
Pozdrowienia
