What an amazing picture!
This is really a masterpiece in terms of lighting and exposure. A perfect sky with a deep dark foreground.
I though this kind of picture was almost impossible.

Wonderful picture, Ales. Great composition and perfectly exposed. I like the contrast between the mountains and the dark sky, specially with the Pleiades cluster so visible.

Even without the stars this would be a great shot.
The snow-capped mountains are spectacular, and I like how you allowed the sky to dominate the frame to such an extent.
I can see from the movement in the clouds that the shutter speed must have been a long one (60 secs - just read the note!), and it's recorded the sky as almost a daytime shade of blue. Combined with the stars, the effect is very unusual and quite eerie.
An excellent piece of work Ales, well done.

Gi ALes, lep slika , odlična kompozicija in barve. kr nekaj suma , ampak je pri taki sliki normalni in opravicljico. Nisem vedel da je tako zgodaj že tako svetlo, mislim na svetlobo zgornjega dela hribovja.

Zivjo Ales;
Vidim, da se se specializiral na nocno tehniko. Tale slika je super. Oblaki in hribi so cist hudi! Na sreco vejevje v ospredju ni osvetljeno - se mi zdi, da bi pokvarilo izgled, ker bi vleklo pozornost. Jaz bi se na tvojem mestu se malo z PS potrudil in ga v celoti odkloniral.

And this is also a good image, the lighted mountains well contrasting to the blue sky.
Here we also can easily recognize the colors of the stars.

Actually just to be different, I prefer this to the B&W versions! Incredible to see the stars in a blue sky, and the red colour of Aldeberan is picked out very well. Well done! Colin.

I couldn't think a 350D could give that kind of image.
