Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia and with 417,389 inhabitants (Google December 31, 2013) the largest city in the country. It is located on the southwestern border of Slovakia on the border with Austria and Hungary.

The cityscape of Bratislava is characterized from the late Baroque style of the Teresian time.

Very nice view of this beautiful street with wonderful architecture and a very good perspective! The light was very well managed! Great presentation of this cityscape! Excellent job!

Hello Achim,
A pleasant perspective along this street lined with some very interesting architecture. The church tower makes for a strong focal point. The image is well exposed and has very good colours and sharpness.

Hi Achim,

The length of the street is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the buildings and of the clock tower. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

nice the view of this section of the town with the bell tower of the church to dominating on the backdrop of the image.

Hi Achim, very nice picture from Bratislava. It is less visited that Prague but also a nice city with quite a lot to sea. Excellent composition with nice light.

this is such a lovely and unique tower. Great capture here with everything else seemingly leading the eye towards the church. I like the asymmetry and the way you have used the perspective.
