Photographer's Note

This is a frontal view of the entry to Grassalkovich Palace in Bratislava.

The Grassalkovich Palace (Slovak: Grasalkovičov palác) is a Rococo and late Baroque palace in Bratislava and the official residence of the President of Slovakia.

The building became a center of Baroque musical life in former Pozsony/Pressburg (Hungarian and German names of historical Bratislva).

Joseph Haydn premiered some of his works here. The founder, Count Grassalkovich also had his orchestra and his conservatorium here.
