This photo was taken during a walking day with Isabella Sorescu somewhere in Bucuresti.

And two words about bowling.

A STRIKE is a term used in bowling to indicate that all of the pins have been knocked down with the first ball of a frame. On a bowling score sheet, a strike is symbolized by an X.

Fantastic action photo with even the ball still in the air. The bright colours of the balls in the foreground and the signs in the background are attractive too. Good quality and light management.

This is a fun and colorful shot. I like how the row of balls in the foreground leads us out to the lanes and the bowler. Nice job capturing him in action. It's funny that in Romania the lanes say "happy birthday" in English. :-)

It would not have occurred to me to visit a bowling hall during my visits to Bucharest, but it was a good idea. It's obviously a very colorful place with fine photo opportunities. This is a good action shot with superb depth and nice reflections in the well polished floor. It's quite original and very well done.

An image that encapsulates the action of ten pin bowling. The low point of view works to perfection. Good vibrant colours and excellent sharpness. I quite like bowling as an occasional pastime but bowling alleys seem few and far between in France.

Not an easy shot but one that has been very well composed, setting the scene for the bowling, by putting the colourful bowls in the f/g. The converging lines draw attention inward to the perfectly laced bowler and his action.
A masterful shot!

Hi Serghei,

You have captured well the action of the bowler. The ppoint of view is showing the details of the bowling. The interior light is giving a good output to the colors. I played in two bowling leagues From the month of September to the month of May. I pratice every monday afternoon. Have a nice day.

I must say I like your rather colourful balls lined up in order and ready for action! Ha ha! If I had such balls I would be thinking it was a happy birthday too!

Nice shot at high speed to freeze action and good use of the balls and lanes to make the lead lines into the scene.

Yes rain... tell me about it :(
