This is the 17th century "Canalul Morii", in the historical center of Cluj-Napoca.
The archeological research made it clear that Canalul Morii was the North border of Roman fortress Napoca.

a nicely thought through composition this, love the light on the water which adds atmosphere and real effect to the lines and symmetry here. A great observational piece of imagery that works irresistably. Well done, very original and creative work.

An interesting and unusual composition that takes full advantage of the lovely reflections and allows us to catch a glimpse of the surrounding architecture. Nicely lit with good colours and sharpness.

You chose a deliberate angle, with the different small bridges after each other.
Color and presentation are pleasant for look at.

Le regard suit naturellement le canal dans l'image. Ses rives semblent très modernes et très hautes probablement pour se protéger des crues du printemps.

Daniel - a fine focus on the canal itself rather than its surroundings, which is a choice that works well here. You can make out the sun on the buildings in their reflection, but only in an impressionistic way; meanwhile, the repetition of the three bridges makes for a nice path for the viewer to follow.

Very nice picture of this historical canal. Those platform going over the canal are quite interesting. The light is great and so is the frame chosen. The reflection on the water add to the beauty of this one.

Thank to your brief infor to guide us along this image. The water, the compo and view point, I feel are the strengths of this shot, such an historc place with iimmese detail within the constraint. The textures and the warm glow from artificail light on deep darkened water is just inviting the eyes in and meaders through although without human an interaction in it. A well seen photo chance well taken, Great capture. TFS.
