Photographer's Note
Under the TE gathering in Romania we also visited the birth town of Isabela and her sister Anellise. Maybe this old church, The Princely Church of Curtea des Arges not was their regular one - still it was in the same city..
An HDR photo shot directly up to the dome coming out in an interesting colour and light setting - as the work up there in no way was as fresh and new (being from 1365) as in the result presented here. The light a combination of natural light from the windows up there and the HDR processing.
In the WS an outside version of this church.
The Princely Court
The Arges Court was the first capital of Valahia, certified since 1330. From 1359 it also became the center of the Valahia metropolitan church but it started to decade after the capital moved to Targoviste.
The Princely Court was built at the middle of the 13th century and restored in 1340.Today there have remained only a few fragments .
The Princely Church, built in 1340, represents the first large monument of religious architecture in Valahia. Well preserved, it impresses through the harmony of the proportions, through the original mural paintings realised between 1364-1366.

Hello Mr. Johanson,
As you told in your note, this is a really interesting HDR application. I love the colors and the details on the ceiling. I thought that this was a stained window photo when i first saw the thumbnail. TFS,

Hi Jack,
Beautiful dome paintings with plenty of details and colour. It's just hard to get idea of the shapes as the view looks rather two dimensional to my eyes. Maybe straight upwards angle is especially hard to comprehend or HDR flattens light differences making it harder to get.

Hello Jack,
This is very interesting detail from the church. Very colorful in contrast to the austerity of the exterior. Post-processing has created a good lighting effect. Regards,
