Photographer's Note

This is one of the many old ships alond the Danube promenade in Tulcea. Everything is rusty and left like 50-60 years ago...A bad note for the gate to the Danube Delta.

Hello Daniel,
The chosen point of view and use of the vertical format makes for a very graphical composition. I like also the contrast in tones between the top and bottom halves of the image. Clarity is excellent.

I like very much your composition and the elegant way in which you used the colourful railing to divide the frame in two main parts. The upper part has the lovely fresh colours, shows the ship of the title, offers a glimpse of the port and tells the story. Depth and clarity are excellent and the light is lovely. What's amazing is how you've managed to render the empty foreground significant and interesting. A very original composition, a delightful image. Congratulations and thank you!
