Hypermarket Sunset, a photo from Prahova, East

Photographer's Note

This is in front of Carrefour, an important hypermarket on the Ploiesti-Brasov highway, at 6 km from Ploiesti.
Well, you will say, what is so interesting about a hypermarket ? The interesting things are the nice sunset colours, the highway seen at the horizon, the light reflected in cars and those high street-lamps.
The fact is that I liked the place and the moment and I found it worth photographing.
For me, a sunset is always something magical...even one in front of the hypermarket.

Hi Andreea,

amazing sunset.
we have very nice sky and sunset in Istanbul,too. However I worry about the climate issues. This kind of weather is very unusual in this season.

Interesanta fotografie, culorile cerului la apus sau la rasaritul soarelui sunt uneori incredibile. Felicitari si pentru multele fotografii super pe care le-ai realizar. Bravo si tine-o tot asa. Numai bine, Cezar T.

Il n'y a que sur TE que l'on peut voir un parking d'hypermarché un peu poétique!

Hi Andreea, I like the composition, the colors of the sky but not this busy background, the DOF is too deep and there are too many elements in it I think...

Good photographers don't always need a beautiful landscape to have nice pictures. In this case, you managed to capture an awsome sky where we are part of the people that took the time to stop and look at what nature has to offer. Well done.

Je suis bien d’accord avec toi, un coucher de soleil est toujours magique même si c’est sur le parking d’un supermarché. Comme quoi, il faut toujours avoir son appareil photo sous la main ! En tout cas, très belles couleurs dans ce ciel !

Hi Andreea,

Your photographing is really improving. This is an excellent shot. I love your POV here. The focus here is on the car with the red rear lights at other side of the parking. You have done this by using the painted lines as a lead-in. A superb job, Andreea. Have a nice week-end.

i think that the man admire this wonderful sunset view.The subdued light, with the sun still painting pastoral colors in the clouds makes this a great shot.The silhouettes of the cars and the man, on the foreground, make the capture more interesting.Informative your note too.
