On My Terrace, a photo from Prahova, East

Photographer's Note

My house is partly covered with a terrace, from which I took a lot of photos. Here you can admire the sunset (generally not the sunrise, I do not like to wake up early !) and have a rather interesting perspective over the neighbours' roofs... I like the sunset and the dusk, those magic moments when the sky is sometimes amazingly beautiful. I try from time to time to capture a little part of that beauty...

This demonstrates that it's not necessary to scale the Canadian Rocks or visit the Sahara to get a lovely shot. Your sunrise caught my eye among many sunrise/sunsets posted here on TE, most likely the dramatic jet trail across so perfect a morning sky.

It looks as if two planes went by before you took this picture Andreea. Excellent picture and framing here. Your colors and perspective of the thin cloud clouds and blue sky is very good. The orange tones in the lower background also create a good contrast t0o the color of the sky. Your balcony is certainly a good place to take picture Andreea :-)

That's sich a beautiful sky. My favorite kind of evening sky. I just love those colors and those criss-crossing cirrus clouds. The lovely sky is well set-off by the silhouette of the house with its four unusual (to my eye) chimneys. -Hugh
