Cheia Monastery

Valea Prahovei, Romania ,,Key,, Monastery,is a monastery of monks dedicated to the Holy Trinity is located on the right bank of the river Tampa, in the south-east of the town. Certified since 1770, was destroyed by the Turks, rebuilt, then destroyed by fire. The present church was built of brick between 1835-1839 and painted by George Tattarascu in 1837

Good morning Ines,
The white monastery edifice seem as "emerging" from the beautiful rural landscape. Combined with the mountains on far side, craetyed wonderful depth to the whole.

Romania is famous with their monasteries and I had pleasure to visit some of them. But not this one so your photo very satisfy me.
Nice capture with low pov of white walls monastery with many towers. Good background of Carpathians Mts.
