Photographer's Note

The sun sets in the stormy skies at Iasi , Romania. A new shopping mall was erected and an entire area behind the Culture's Palace was remodelled ito this rather peculiar ansamble of (clashing?) architectonic styles. Still this view had its charm, and no processing tricks other than resize and a little exposure compensation were used. Yes the colors were unusually saturated- as the light is polarized through the cloud layer and the sunset added the slightly pinkish tinge. The freshly painted buildings responded with..screaming colors.Panorama comprised of four distinct photographs, in-camera stitched with automagic exposure compensation between each shot and artificial horizon-assisted alignment. Technology is crazy on these newer models. This particular high zoom device also has a good measure of manual control over the main shooting parameters, unlike its similar bridge-style counterparts.
