Photographer's Note

This is one more scene with the old buildings of the Coimbra University. It is such a lovely place for a walk. I just thought that when you spend too much time in the library reading books or working on the computer, as noble as it is, your eyes and your brain are getting tired. You need to take a break and go for a walk to stretch your muscles, stretch your eyes. This university campus offers lovely spots just at the entrance to the library. You can walk out and enjoy outdoors. The title is a phrase popular among students. There is certainly some truth that we must all find a right work-life balance.

Such a wonderful place to spend your student years! The architecture looks great and the details around the windows and doors stand out well from the white walls. The colonnade and fences in the foreground are well included too, adding nice depth and patterns.

A fine special perspective from the balcony over the lot at the entrance to the low school in Coimbra, a wondrerful place to take architecture's photos.
The elevated POV enable good scale by the people/visitors.

I guess the fun help us to go ahead in many tasks. I only get to work because the fun we do at job.
marvelous view of the building. when you visit a place like this with family it is difficult to explore the area so much, I was ever running in coimbra, ever visiting the sames spots..

This isn't just a very lovely building, you have made it look very special by your excellent use of the pillared walkway, which fills the f/g with interest, as well as framing the details of the university building.
I really like how the patterned railings stand out and how they add to the spectacle by their shadows.

Hello Mariusz,
I'm aware that it is extremely difficult for the average student to strike the right balance between studying enough and having fun.
But for many people it is equally difficult to find the right balance between work and pleasure, or between work and family.
In that sense, studying is a good preparation for later life, the problem of finding the right balance.
However, the corona times have seriously disrupted my balance ...
I think I remember this building from Coimbra. Beautifully presented from the colonnade.
