Photographer's Note

Monte Gordo is situated on the Atlantic coast, it has beautiful long and wide beaches, but there are big differences between ebbs and flows, at low tide the beach is wider by up to 50 m. This is an advantage for tourists, but not for fishermen. Fishing boats are brought by a tractor on the sand to the place where they are "parked".

Another great beach scene with a completely different subject this time. The tractor and the fishing boat are very well placed in the foreground and are nicely reflected in the patches of wet sand. The pastel colours of the apartment blocks make a good background.

Avec les oiseaux et les reflets quelle compo et vue quelle iamge sueprbe ce tracteur qui tire le bateau sur la plage avec les deux personnage quelle vue sueprbe genial.

Interesting well realised daily life composition. The pastel coloured apartment blocks in the background make a fine juxtaposition with the fisherman and his big tractor. I like the reflections in the wet sand.

Hello Ryszard,

A very well composed photograph shows the tractor towing the fishing boat from the sea, with lots of space into which it can move.
You did well to include the wet sand for it has picked up lots of exciting reflections and really adds to the interest of the photograph.
The pastel shades of the buildings are an unexpected contrast with the strong blues of the f/g.

This is obviously a necessary way to handle the boats, but just imagine the hard work involved before there were tractors. It offers a good photo opportunity, not least thanks to the reflections and patterns in the wet sand. In this case the pastel coloured balconies of the hotels create a nice background.

A nicely angled and well composed shot of this fishing scene. The dark wet foreground contrasts well with the soft sand and even the buildings beyond.

Une belle scène très inhabituelles. Habituellement, les tracteurs n'attirent pas trop l'attention sur les plages, sauf lorsqu'ils tirent des bateaux.
