Photographer's Note

Hello friends,
Foto na Quinta da Alagoa situated in Carcavelos, captured these reflections at the end of the day in this small pond.

The Parque Quinta da Alagoa, in Carcavelos, once owned by the society of Jesus, was a farm producing wine of Carcavelos.
Of the past still conserves traces of original forest, and also counts with boxwood Topiary in flowerbeds along the ruins of older buildings.
Visitors can also enjoy some architectural elements, such as hydraulic parts water catchment and storage, and driving to the surface. The lagoon which gives its name to the Park, is still today powered the same way, by groundwater abstraction.
Much sought after by the local population and not only, the Park is an informal usage space where various recreational activities become possible in large lawns, two playgrounds, tennis courts, running or in the pleasant cicuito surrounding the lagoon.
The Parque Quinta da Alagoa, also has internet access and a small area of restoration. The entire set was recently awarded a prize for landscape architecture.
