Si observamos Lisboa desde el estuario del Tajo, veremos el inconfundible perfil de la colina sobre la que se asienta el Castelo de São Jorge, y bajando dicha colina hacia el río, en una abigarrada confusión de calles, Alfama.
Alfama es uno de los focos turísticos de Lisboa. Porque fue el lugar donde se establecieron los árabes, debido a sus cualidades defensivas, y porque su base rocosa minimizó los daños del gran terremoto.
Alfama hoy conserva el viejo trazado urbanístico de kasbahs árabe, calles que descienden del Castelo en fuerte desnivel, en trazado irregular, entre empinadas cuestas y escaleras pronunciadas.

Looking at Lisbon from the Tajo estuary, we see the unmistakable shape of the hill on which stands the Castelo de Sao Jorge, and down the hill toward the river, in a motley confusion of streets, Alfama.
Alfama is one of Lisbon's tourist focus. Because it was the place where Arabs were established due to its defensive qualities, and because its rocky base as minimizing the big earthquake.
Alfama still preserves the old street layout of kasbahs Arabic, streets descending from the Castle in sharp drop in irregular outline, between steep hills and steep stairs.

une vue très colorée de cette rue avec ce tramway en premier plan d'une couleur très vive, jolie architecture à l'arrière, beau cadrage,

Me encanta esa foto Carlos . Qué buenos los colores ,sólidos, vivos , de impacto ... qué alegría !Como esa canción , Alfama de Madredeus al ritmo de los tranvías ! En 10 días viajamos un fin de semana largo a Lisboa ( mi mujer no conoce tanto el sur de Europa y Portugal tiene maravillas) y esa foto aceleran mis ansias ...wuaoh los miradores , el fado en Largo de Sâo Miguel ...Un abrazo !

Have you been to the belvedere to the right of the picture, where the man is walking? It is probably one of the best views in Lisbon.
Nice shot in spite of being a bit too tight on the bottom of the tram.

This is a nicely composed shot of this bright yellow trolley. The angle of the shot is great giving the photo depth and direction. The lighting and colors are fine as is the photo's sharpness.

Bonjour Carlos ,
Un bon timing pour prendre à la fois l'église et le tram . De jolis contrastes aussi . J'aurais coupé la partie gauche , pas vraiùment nécessaire .

Hi Carlos,
I think Lisbon has more tram pictures in TE than any other city. And no wonder. Classic ageing models and bright yellow colours give picturesque results. And views of the old city, especially along this line provide great backgrounds. Also the weather is beautiful, as usual.

Hola Carlos,

una foto molto interessante per la vista di questo caratteristico tram di Lisbona che contrasta magnificamente con la chiesa bianca dietro. Molto belli i colori brillanti e intensi che danno alla foto un grande impatto visivo. Anche il contrasto e la luce rendono la foto molto incisiva.

Um bom scan, eu gosto muito dos eléctricos(tram) da minha cidade.São uma beleza vê-los pelas colinas com a sua cor natural amarelo sem publicidade. A luz da cidade é fantástica.TFS

Hola Carlos. Bonita foto de Alfama com o tradicional eléctrico e a Igreja de Santa Luzia atrás. As cores estão muito bonitas e a composição excelente. Gostaria apenas de ver mais um pouco da igreja, por isso fiz um clone do eléctrico no WorkShop que espero seja do teu agrado. Belo trabalho. Um abraço.
